With over 25 years at Marriott International and over 6 years at Avendra, Doug knows strategy, change management, communications, operations, procurement, project management and implementation. He's as comfortable in the board room as he is on the back dock.
Doug's Marriott career includes management in nearly all areas of food and beverage, mostly focused on culinary, catering, sales, and restaurants. Doug spent over 13 years at Marriott Headquarters as the leader of catering for all brands, worldwide. He was on the pre-opening team of 42 hotels all over the world.
With Avendra, he was Vice President of Marketing, then Vice President of Account Management. In these roles, Doug added marketing, public and media relations, and large account management skills to his portfolio.
